The Four Schools represent four philosophies of how the kingdom survives. They cooperate when necessary and clash when ideals differ.

School of Cloaks

“The Kingdom Endures Because It Remembers.”

The School of Cloaks trains scribes, historians, advisors, and researchers. Their education is long and meticulous, emphasizing accuracy, critical thought, and discretion. Many students remain beyond the minimum term to deepen their specialization.

School of Shields

“The Kingdom Stands Because We Hold the Line.”

The School of Shields trains the backbone of Thein’s military. Students learn formation fighting, land navigation, defensive tactics, and escort duties. Most soldiers of Thein pass through this school before being assigned to garrisons, patrol routes, or field armies.

School of Adamantine

“The Kingdom Survives Because We Kill What Others Cannot.”

Role: Elite soldiers, champions, battle-mages

Training Duration: 4 years before assignment

The School of Adamantine trains Thein’s most elite warriors. Students are hand-picked, recruited, or conscripted based on potential. Training is brutal, unforgiving, and often deadly. Survival itself is considered proof of worth.

Adamantine teaches:

  • Advanced combat techniques
  • Battlefield magic
  • Anti-monster tactics
  • Psychological Warfare & Attrition

The school is run by Kazir Seahold.

Primary Courses:

  • History
  • Hand-to-Hand Combat
  • Battle Tactics
  • Magic

Students of the School of Adamantine are divided into four squads used solely for organizational separation:

  • Dagger
  • Scythe
  • Hammer
  • Sword

Each squad is broken down by year:

  • Ones (First Year)
  • Twos (Second Year)
  • Threes (Third Year)
  • Finals (Fourth Year)

School of Cloth

“The Kingdom Lives Because We Refuse to Let It Die.”

The School of Cloth trains healers devoted solely to preserving life. Instruction includes magical healing, homeopathic remedies, battlefield medicine, and long-term care.
